How do I add a resource to the team in the Project Planner?

This lesson covers adding resources to the team from inside the Project Planner. Use the “Edit Team” button on the ribbon to add resources to the team.

1. Click Edit Team

  • Click Edit Team on the ribbon.

2. Click Add

  1. Under the Resource Pool, check the box to the left of the resource name to be added to the team.
  2. Click Add.

3. Select the Permissions

  1. Click in the Permissions column to the right of the new team member.
  2. Select the appropriate permission level.
  3. Click OK.

4. Click the Save and Close Button

  • Click Save & Close.
