What does the Update Project button do?

When the Update Project feature is used, a project manager can accept multiple updates to a project schedule at once. The use case here could be a project has been live for a while and the task updates have been made by team members but have not yet been pulled into the schedule. In this case, the project manager could use the Update Project button to select a desired date and then all the tasks up to the selected date in the schedule are marked as complete. This saves times as the project manager would thus not having to accept each tasks separately.


1.  Click Update Project

View the schedule and locate the Update Project button.

2.  Select Date

Select the desired date. Click OK.

3.  View the Updated Schedule
