The Cost Analyzer is used once the projects have been approved and are in progress. This tool allows managers to look at and the budgeted costs and actual costs. This lesson covers launching the Cost Analyzer from the Project Center.
1. Click the Projects Link on the Navigation Menu
- Click the Projects link on the Navigation Menu.
2. Click Cost Analyzer
- Check the boxes to the left of the project item name(s).
- Click Cost Analyzer on the ribbon.
Note: The Cost Analyzer will allow the manger to analyze the data displayed by budget versus actuals.
3. View the Cost Analyzer
- View the Cost Analyzer.
