How do I show the ribbon?

In this article, you will learn how to configure the ribbon behavior in the List App.

Note: The instructions in this article are applicable to Administrators in the Top Level Site as well as to Power Users who have Owner permissions on a workspace.

1. Navigate to the List Settings

Navigate to the List App.  

  1. On the View Toolbar, select the Settings Gear.

2. Open General Settings (EPM Live)

Under the General Settings heading, select General Settings (EPM Live).

3. Ribbon Behavior

Ribbon Behavior: Select the desired ribbon behavior for the views of this List App. The choices include:

  • Automatic: This option will show the ribbon by default when users navigate to the List App.  Users can choose to show or hide the ribbon using the hide and ribbon buttons..
  • Manual: This option will hide the ribbon by default when users navigate to the List App.  Users can choose to show or hide the ribbon using the hide and ribbon buttons.
  • Hidden: This option will hide the ribbon and will not be able to be shown.

4. Save and Close General Settings

When finished, click Save.
