What is the General Community?

The "General" Community is a community that contains the My Workplace links and additional collaborating links to areas within your site. The heading links on the Navigation Menu may include: My Work, My Timesheet, My Time Off, To Do, Discussions, Events, Wikis, Shared Documents, Pictures, Contacts, and Links. These heading links are to key collaborating sections within EPM Live.  This article covers viewing the General Community.

  • My Work: This link navigates to where assigned work can be viewed and managed.
  • My Timesheet: This link navigates to whereteam members can track time against project tasks as well as any other work and non-work items in timesheets.
  • My Time Off: This link navigated to where Time Off Requests can be entered, submitted and viewed.
  • To Do: This link navigates to where To Do items (Action items) can be entered.
  • Discussions: This link navigates to where discussion threads can be entered and viewed.
  • Events: This link navigates to where events can be entered and viewed.
  • Wikis: This link navigates to where wikis can be created, additions can be made, and information can be shared with others.
  • Shared Documents: This link navigates to the Shared Documents Library and is where documents can be uploaded, viewed, checked-out, edited, and shared.
  • Pictures: This link navigates to the Picture Library and is where all pictures entered into the system can be viewed.
  • Links: This link navigates to the Links List and is where various links can be entered, accessed, and viewed.
