How do I insert a fragment in a Project Planner schedule?

Fragments are similar to small templates that can be created, saved, and managed within the Project Planner. Fragments can be used to help you quickly create a full project schedule. This article covers inserting a project fragment into a schedule into the Project Planner.

1. Edit the Plan

  1. Select the project name in the Project Center.
  2. Click Edit Plan on the ellipsis menu.

2. Click the Project Planner

  • Click the Project Planner option.

3. Insert a Fragment

  • Insert the desired fragment.

4. Insert the Fragment

  1. Click the Project tab.
  2. Click the Fragments drop down.
  3. Click Insert Fragment.

5. Select the Fragment

  1. Select the fragment.
  2. Click Insert.

6. Click OK

  • Click OK.

7. View the Inserted Fragment

  • View the inserted fragment.

8. Save & Publish

  1. Save
  2. Publish
  3. Close
