How do I navigate to the List Settings page?

This article explains how to navigate to the List Settings page.  There are many List Apps in EPM Live, for which the steps to configure them are the same.  So, once you understand how certain settings and options work, you can apply those settings and options to the different List Apps that you want to configure.

Note: The instructions in this article are applicable to Administrators in the Top Level Site as well as to Power Users who have Owner permissions on a workspace.

There are four methods to navigate to the List Settings page:

  • From the List Ribbon Tab when viewing the List App
  • From the Settings Gear on the View Toolbar
  • From the Lists and Libraries link on Site Settings Page
  • From the Settings Link on the Site Contents Page.

1. List Ribbon Tab

Note: This option will only be available if the List App's Ribbon is set to show.

Navigate to the List App.

  1. Select the List Ribbon Tab.
  2. Select the List Settings button.

2. Settings Gear

Navigate to the List App.  

  1. On the View Toolbar, select the Settings Gear.

3. Site Libraries and Lists

  1. Select the Settings Gear icon on the Icon Bar.
  2. Under the Configuration heading, select Site Libraries and Lists.
  3. Select Customize "List Name" - for the List App whose settings you need.

4. Site Contents Page

Navigate to the Site Contents Page.

  1. Click the More Information button (...) - for the List App whose settings you need.
  2. Select Settings.
